PERMANENT HAIR REMOVAL

Electrolysis is the original permanent hair removal method for a full permanent hair removal.

The electrolysis method of hair removal uses a tiny probe that is inserted into the hair follicle. A tiny blast of heat is applied to the hair follicle to kill the blood supply to the root of the hair causing it to be permanently removed.

Laser hair removal has quickly taken over from electrolysis due to its super fast and effective results. However laser is unable to treat all types of hair effectively and can also stimulate unwanted hair growth if used on small patches of hormonal hair. Laser works by the heat being attracted to the dark pigment in the hair therefore white, blonde and red hairs are unable to be treated by the laser light. Many ladies feel uncomfortable at being asked to shave their face prior to a laser treatment which ca also be off-putting.

This is where electrolysis is still needed. Electrolysis is far more effective at treating small patches of hormonal hair because only the target hairs are treated which eliminates the risk of stimulating more hair growth. You wont be asked to shave your face prior to the appointment.

Electrolysis is also a perfect alternative if you have had a lip tattoo - some laser clinics refuse to treat upper lip hair if you have a lip tattoo close to the area.

White, grey, blonde and red hairs are just as effectively removed as darker coloured hairs.

A course of treatments is recommended to ensure permanent hair removal.
